Bansko Bohemi is bringing together musicians and national dishes and drinks from across the Balkan Peninsula this Saturday and Sunday.
The second edition of the ethno festival, taking place in the southwestern town of Bansko, will include renowned Serbian trumpeter Kristijan Azirovi? and his orchestra, Bosnian songwriter and composer Edin Dervi?halidovi?, better known as Dino Merlin), and Magnifico, a Slovenian musician of Serbian descent.
The Bulgarian lineup will feature Karandila, a Bulgarian brass band known for its extravagant approach to Roma music, and Alcohol Jazzz Orchestra, some of whose members are Bulgarians.
Local folklore performers from the region of Bansko and the Pirin Mountain will also take part.
Entry to the festival, which will take place at Nikola Vaptsarov square in downtown Bansko starting 18:30 on Saturday, is free of charge.
