Bulgaria has turned over to the Turkish authorities two men suspected of participation in a “terrorist group in Turkey,” Sofia-based news outlet BGNES revealed on Sunday citing Turkish media reports.

Those reports didn’t say when the two men escaped from the Turkish town of Kirklareli close to the border with Bulgaria, when and where in Bulgaria they were found and what procedure was followed to turn them over to Turkey, according to bgnes.com.

The Bulgarian news outlet added that according to Turkish newspaper Yeni Safak, the two men identified only as R.I. and S.K., were members of PKK-KCK, a Kurdish organization declared a terrorist group by the Turkish authorities.

According to Yeni Safak, Bulgaria turned over the two men to Turkey on Saturday. Turkish news website haberler.com has reported that the expulsion took place at noon on Saturday, according to BGNES.

There was no information about the reported expulsion of the two men on the website of the Bulgarian Ministry of the Interior by 5.30 PM on Sunday.

Earlier this week, Bulgaria handed over to Turkey Abdullah Buyuk, a Turkish businessman whose extradition Ankara sought in connection with alleged close links with U.S.-based cleric Fethullah Gulen blamed for orchestrating of the failed coup attempt in Turkey. Gulen has denied the acusations.
