Bulgaria: Forest Fire Breaks out in Harmanli Municipality, in Southern Bulgaria File photo by BGNES

A wildfire engulfed 30 hectares of forest near Cherna Mogila village in Harmanli Municipality, in southern Bulgaria, the authorities in Haskovo Region said on Wednesday.

Firefighters, forest rangers and volunteers from the village were trying to contain the blaze which started around noontime.

The reasons for the fire were not immediately known.
