Bulgaria's Dafovska Wins Biathlon Pursuit

Ekaterina Dafovska won the women's 10-kilometer World Cup biathlon pursuit on Sunday in Brezno-Osrblie, Slovakia. Russia's Galina Koukleva was second and Germany's Martina Glagow was third. France's Raphael Poiree won the men's 12.5-kilometer World Cup biathlon pursuit. In the 10-kilometer pursuit, Dafovska won in 32:45.6, with two missed targets. Koukleva was only 12.6 seconds behind but missed four targets. Glagow was 34.6 behind the winner, with two missed targets. Sunday's pursuit reshuffled the women's overall standings, putting Dafovska in the lead with 219 points, followed by France's Sylvie Becaert with 215 and Russia's Olga Pyleva with 203.
