Turkish Customs and Trade Minister B?lent T?fenkci has said his country's economy has already lost around USD 100 M as a result of the failed coup attempt of July 15.

The figure is only based on initial calculations and may change upwards once detailed estimates are made, H?rriyet Daily News quotes him as saying.

"Various costs in the medium-term" will add to the costs brought by "warplanes, helicopters, weapons, bombs and buildings," such as the cancellation of orders abroad and the decrease in visits to Turkey.
