The situation in the Central Bulgarian village of Rozino is getting back to normal after the area was hit by torrential rains on Friday, its mayor says.
The flood it caused hit two more villages (Hristo Danovo and Slatina) and the nearby town of Klisura.
Mayor Angel Shalamanov has told Focus Radio that the state of emergency in Rozino will also remain in force on Sunday.
Streets with a total length of 5 km have been left completely destroyed by the flood in the village of more than 4000 inhabitants, according to Sahalamanov.
He has estimated the damages in Rozino alone to be above BGN 1 M (EUR 0.511 M).
