Bulgaria: 4.7-Magnitude Earthquake Felt in Bulgaria's Montana

An earthquake of magnitude 4.7 on the Richter scale was felt at the higher floors of buildings in the northwestern Bulgarian city of Montana on Thursday morning.

The epicentre of the earthquake, which occurred at a depth of five kilometres, was seven kilometres southeast of the Serbian town of Turija, 77 kilometres west of the city of Drobeta-Turnu Severin in Romania and 105 kilometres east of the Serbian capital Belgrade.

So far, there have been no reports of any damages caused by the earthquake.
