Economy Minister Bozhidar Lukarski will head a business delegation of 16 entrepreneurs heading to Japan, his ministry has said.
The group will include representatives of high-tech industries, processing and food sectors.
Apart from a meeting between Lukarski and his counterpart, Economy, Trade and Industry Minister Motoo Hayashi, a Bulgarian-Japanese business forum has also been scheduled.
Separately, the IT company representatives in Bulgaria will take part in the spring edition of Japan IT Week 2016, known as a top IT show in the country and held between May 11-13.
Lukarski is scheduled to visit a factory producing yoghurt near Tokyo under a license by Bulgarian state-owned LB Bulgaricum.
Apart from his meeting with Hayashi, the Bulgarian politician will also meet with organizations working to provide incentives to trade and investment.
