Bulgaria: Bulgaria President Condemns Brussels Attacks

President Rosen Plevneliev has said Bulgaria strongly condemns the "acts of violence" that rocked Brussels on Tuesday morning.

"News of terror attacks at Zaventem Airports and in the Brussels metro, which resulted in the killing of innocent citizens and left tens injured, have deeply shocked and grieved me... Such activities targeting peaceful citizens can in no way be justified," reads a telegram to King Philippe of Belgium quoted by local media outlets.

The same message has been spread on Twitter.

At least 13 people have been confirmed dead as of 11:00 local time on Tuesday after the airports blasts, while the death toll at the metro is not clear yet.
