The Irish low-cost airline Ryanair announced on Tuesday that it will be operating two new daily winter services from the Bulgarian capital to Rome Ciampino and Milan Malpensa starting from October 30.
With the latest two additions, the winter 2016 schedule of Ryanair will deliver six new routes from Sofia.
There will be daily flights to four destinations – Rome, Milan, Brussels Charleroi and London Stansted.
Ryanair will also operate flights to Dublin three times a week and twice weekly to Pisa.
Thus the airline will conduct a total of 33 weekly flights and service an estimated 330 000 passengers.
Tickets for the new routes from Sofia to Rome and Milan are now available for purchase at prices starting from EUR 19.99 for flights in November.
The low fare seats are available for booking on the website of the airline until midnight February 9.
Denis Barabas, Sales & Marketing Executive of Ryanair, stated that Bulgarian customers can expect further improvements in the coming months, including new aircraft interiors, new uniforms and more new routes, as part of the “Always Getting Better” programme.
