Bulgaria is one of the stops on Nuland's visit to Europe, which will also include Lithuania, Romania, the World Economic Forum in Davos and Turkey.

The last time Nuland came to Bulgaria was in January 2015 when she accompanied US State Secretary John Kerry on his visit to Sofia.
