Bulgarian ski resorts will keep prices unchanged from last year for Winter 2015-16, bTV reported on Friday, citing information from hotel owners and ski lift operators in Bansko, Pamporovo and Borovets.

Bansko will officially open its ski season on 12 December. Weather is warm for December with air temperature at the highest points of ski runs not falling below minus 1 degree Centigrade.

With snow guns ready for operation, the ski resort in the Pirin Mountain will offer two new ski runs in addition to last year’s 16.

The all-day ski pass price remains unchanged at BGN 58 for adults, BGN 52 for students and BGN 40 for children. Prices for bed and breakfast accommodation start from BGN 30 for a family lodge and reach BGN 120 for four-star hotels.

In Pamporovo, no announcement has been made so far about the official opening of the 2015-16 ski season as currently snow could be found only in the highest points of the ski runs, bTV said.

All-day ski pass prices in Pamporovo remain at the levels of the 2014-15 winter season: BGN 53 for adults and BGN 32 for children up to 12 years old. The price of B&B accommodation at the ski resort in the Rhodope Mountains starts at BGN 50. An all-inclusive accommodation package plus a ski pass will cost BGN 120.

In Borovets, located in the Rila Mountain some 60 km south of Sofia, an all-day ski pass will cost BGN 55 for adults, children will pay BGN 44. Half-day ski cards will be offered at reduced prices.
