French authorities say they have identified the seventh attacker involved in the events which killed 129 and wounded hundreds in Paris on Friday.

The man's name is not disclosed yet, but his identity was established after his face was recognized in an image obtained by France's domestic intelligence agency, German media outlets quote RTL France as saying.

Reportedly, his name has been familiar to counter-intelligence authorities for some time.

Police are still after Salah Abdelsalam, the eighth suspect, whose brother Brahim Abdesalam was killed during the attacks.
