Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov expressed readiness to aid France in the aftermath of the series of attacks, which left at least 120 people dead and more than 200 injured in Paris on Friday night.

In a condolence address to French President Francois Hollande and Prime Minister Manuel Valls, Borisov noted that Bulgaria reacted to the news of the attacks with anger and resentment.

The prime minister added that the Bulgarian nation stands in solidarity with France and was assured that terrorism will be defeated.

According to him, the attack against France and the values symbolised and carried by the French nation reinforced the will for a victory in the fight against terrorism.

On behalf of the government, Borisov expressed condolences to the families of the victims and wished speedy recovery to the injured.
