The Foreign Ministry has no information on any Bulgarian citizens injured or killed in the multiple attacks, which left at least 120 people dead and more than 200 others wounded in Paris on Friday night.

Bulgarian Foreign Minister Daniel Mitov strongly condemned the attacks and expressed condolences to the families and relatives of the victims.

A series of gun and bomb attacks were carried out in six locations across Paris, including a concert hall, bars and restaurants.

Eighty people were reported killed at the Bataclan concert hall, where attackers had held numerous hostages before the building was stormed by the security forces.

People were also shot at bars and restaurants at five other locations in the French capital, including near the Stade de France stadium where a friendly football match between France and Germany was taking place.

Police believes that all the eight attackers were dead, but it was unclear if any accomplices were still on the run.

France has declared national state of emergency and tightened its borders.

At present, no group has claimed responsibility for the attacks, but analysts suggest that the perpetrators were most likely affiliates of Islamic State (IS).

This is the second deadly attack in Paris this year after the shooting at the offices of the Charlie Hebdo weekly and subsequent attacks in January left dozens dead and injured.
