New data from the National Statistical Institute (NSI) sheds light on the housing landscape in Bulgaria, painting a picture of the majority of Bulgarians residing in older homes.
Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev will be on a two-day working visit to Germany on Thursday and Friday.
Plevneliev will participate at the first Berlin Global Forum which aims to stimulate dialogue between European institutions and business representatives with emerging economies in the world.
The topic of the forum is “Europe and the Emerging Economies: Sharing Responsibility”
The Head of State will make a keynote speech and will also participate in a discussion devoted to challenges and opportunities for deepening the cooperation between Europe and its neighbouring regions.
In Berlin, Plevneliev will also meet with the Chairperson of the Eastern Europe Business Association of Germany, Marcus Felsner.
Earlier in Hamburg, the Bulgarian president will meet with representatives of the government and parliament of the Federal State of Hamburg.
Plevneliev will be a main speaker at the “Night of Europe,” organised by the AGA business association, which has a membership of more than 3500 German firms.
The President will also meet the administration of the Bulgarian school and the representatives of the Bulgarian orthodox church community “Saints Cyril and Methodius” in Hamburg.
