Bulgaria’s Tourism Ministry is focused on making the country “a year-round destination and among the top destinations in Europe,” Tourism Minister Nikolina Angelkova has said.

While Bulgaria has all the potential to meet these goals, it is faced with the “big challenge of brand-awareness”, Angelkova said in an interview with euronews TV channel at the World Travel Market 2015 in London.

Twenty-six travel companies and municipal administrations from Bulgaria advertise their products at the leading event for the global travel industry which is taking place in the UK capital November 2-5.

Angelkova also said that Bulgaria is working together with its Balkan neighbours to offer joint regional products on the vast Asian market.
