The best Bulgarian male tennis player Grigor Dimitrov proceeded to the 1/8 finals of the BNP Paribas Masters, which is taking place in Paris between November 2 and 8.
Dimitrov defeated Marin Cilic from Croatia with 7:6 (3), 7:6 (2) in a match from the second round of the tournament, which was played on Wednesday.
The Bulgarian did not record any breaks, but at the same time did not concede any breaks and managed to win the two tie-breaks.
Dimitrov showed strong nerves in the key moments, scoring fourteen aces, while his opponent recorded only half the number.
In the 1/8 finals the Bulgarian will face David Ferrer from Spain, who defeated Alexandr Dolgopolov from Ukraine with 6:2. 6:2 in the second round.
