A bomb threat caused evacuation of citizens, magistrates and judicial officials from the Palace of Justice in the Bulgarian capital of Sofia on Monday.

Around 12:30 EET an anonymous signal was submitted, informing of an explosive device planted in the building, private bTV station informs.

There is still no official information whether an actual explosive device was located in the building, with the interior ministry not confirming the bomb threat.

Officers from two police departments were dispatched to inspect the building, with access to the building restored an hour after the bomb threat had been issued.

Earlier in September, a series of bomb threats successively evacuated the buildings of the Palace of Justice, Sofia Municipality and the Presidency.
