Bulgaria's top ranking male tennis player Grigor Dimitrov will face Gael Monfils from France in an exhibition match, which is scheduled to take place at the Arena Armeec hall in Sofia on November 28.

The encounter will occur at the end of the season and will most likely be in a three-set format, daily Dnevnik informs.

It is possible that the match will have an element of charity to it and might be accompanied by other events.

Dimitrov and Monfils have played four times against each other, the French having scored three victories, his most recent one being at the quarterfinals in Monte Carlo in April.

The Bulgarian achieved his only victory in Bucharest last year when Monfils retired due to an injury.

The match will be most likely broadcasted by one of the channels of NOVA TV.

In March, Dimitrov defeated Roger Federer at the BNP Paribas Showdown in New York and recorded his first victory over the Swiss player.
