About 29,000 migrants have entered Croatia since September 16 when Hungary sealed off its border with Serbia, thus redirecting migrant flow to Croatia, Hina reported, citing figures available as of Monday morning.
Croatia is organising their transport to the borders with Hungary and Slovenia. About 1,500 migrants are currently staying at a temporary reception centre in the village of Opatovac, on the border with Serbia in eastern Croatia.

Most of the refugees and migrants waiting at the Bregana and Harmica border crossings between Croatia and Slovenia were allowed into Slovenia during the night to Monday and were transported by bus to reception centres in the country, Slovenian police said.
The number of people waiting to cross at the two main entry points between the two EU member states decreased to less than 200 overnight, Slovenian news agency STA reported.
Although the flow of refugees into Slovenia appears to have abated, police forces are staying on full alert for a possible new surge in the number of refugees arriving from Croatia, Slovenia’s Interior Minister Vesna Gyorkos Znidar said on Monday.
