Bulgaria: China's Prosecutor General to Visit Sofia, Plovdiv

Bulgarian Chief Prosecutor Sotir Tsatsarov is due to meet with Chinese counterpart Cao Jianming the latter is visiting the capital Sofia and the city of Plovdiv on Friday and Saturday, officials say.

This is a reciprocal visit after Tsatsarov traveled to China in December 2014.

The purpose of this trip has not been announced in the official statement of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Bulgaria, which first informed of the visit.

The Chinese delegation arriving on Thursday is also due to meet Vice President Margarita Popova and Deputy Prime Ministers Meglena Kuneva and Rumyana Bachvarova, as well as Krasimir Vlahov, the deputy chair of the Supreme Court of Cassation.

On the second day of the visit, the guests will head for Plovdiv, Bulgaria's second-largest city, to meet local judiciary officials there.
