Iraq Hands to UN Weapons Programme Dossier

One day ahead of the deadline Iraq handed over to the UN a huge dossier setting out details of the country's weapons programme. The 12,000-page document and two separate annexes were carried into the UN inspectors' Baghdad headquarters in cardboard boxes and plastic bags. In a televised message to the Kuwaiti people, read by Information Minister Mohamed Said Sahaf, Iraqi President Saddam Hussein accused the leadership of Kuwait of conspiring "hand in hand" with infidel forces who were preparing to attack Iraq.
