Bulgaria's reigning football champion Ludogorets signed on Thursday a contract with the Romanian striker Claudiu Keseru for three years.

The 28-year-old Romanian started his career at his hometown club – Bihor Oradea before moving to France, where he competed for the teams of Nantes, Libourne, Tours, Angers and Bastia.

Keseru played 76 games in the French Ligue 1, scoring 12 goals and making 5 assists, and recorded 164 matches in Ligue 2, in which he scored 55 goals and made 20 assists.

In 2014, he returned for a season to Romania, where he played 34 games, scored 20 goals and recorded 5 assists for Steaua Bucuresti.

Before moving to Ludogorets, the striker competed for the Qatari team Al-Gharafa, where he scored nine goals in nine games.

Keseru scored six goals in 21 games for the Romanian national under-21 team and has four goals in five appearances for the men's national team.

He will become the third Romanian to compete for the team from Razgrad along with defender Cosmin Moti and midfielder Andrei Prepelita.
