Bulgaria: Bulgaria Appoints Franco Castellini as Honorary Consul to Italy’s Emilia-Romagna

Bulgaria has appointed Franco Castellini as the country’s new honorary consul to Italy in charge of the Emilia-Romagna region based in Bologna.

Franco Castellini will replace Giovanni Fagioli whose term of authorisation at the post expired in 2013, the government said in a statement.

A competent and active honorary consul could significantly contribute to making Bulgaria more visible as a business and investment destination to partners in Emilia-Romagna, which is one of the richest regions in northeastern Italy famous for its traditions and potential in industry and agriculture, the government said.
