Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and US Secretary of State John Kerry have been recommended for the Nobel Peace Prize of 2016.

The statement was issued by Swedish-based think-tank Wednesday.

The government representatives have been praised on account of the successful completion of the Iran Nuclear Deal talks after 12 years of trade and weapon embargo.

Austrian capital Vienna became an arena of the solution, that was deemed by analysts a largely positive sign to the world.

Director of the Disarmament and Non-Proliferation Program at the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) stated that the Iran deal is the single most important multilateral agreement in decades, as reported by the International Business Times. He added that the outcome of the talks resembles the 1996 Comprehensive Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT).
