Bulgaria: Lidl Bulgaria to Build Its Largest Logistical Center near Kabile

Lidl Bulgaria EOOD plans to build its largest logistical center in the country near the southeastern village of Kabile on an area of 188 decares.

The construction works are expected to begin in early September, according to reports of gradat.bg.

A construction permit for the site has been issued and a procedure for the selection of a contractor is underway.

The architectural design was prepared by Varna-based architect Martin Hristov.

German discount supermarket chain Lidl set foot in Bulgaria in 2010.

The retailer currently operates a network of 70 stores in 39 cities in Bulgaria, which are serviced by the logistical center in the western village of Ravno Pole.

The new logistical complex near Kabile will have a staff of around 100 people.
