Bulgarian national Sonya Gencheva has been severely wounded in a drive-by shooting in London on Friday, while another innocent bystander has been killed, London Evening Standard reported.

Gencheva, 51, remains in hospital where she is fighting for life after the shooting in Lordship Lane,” the newspaper said on Tuesday.

Erdogan Guzel, a Turkish bakery ownerwas killed after a bullet hit him in Wood Green on Friday evening.

Police held six people at Gatwick airport and another three in Hornsey on Tuesday on suspicion of murder and conspiracy to murder. Authorities have opened an investigation whether it the shooting is connected with a turf war between rival gangs.
