Bulgaria’s Protest Network has lit up the Court of Justice with a sign saying #Resignation.

The action was organized to demand the resignation of Bulgaria’s Chief Prosecutor Sotir Tsatsarov and in support of the judicial reform to be executed in the country.

A protest rally will take place Tuesday at around 6:30 p.m. to demand Tsatsarov’s resignation, according to an announcement on Facebook. More than 3,000 people have confirmed that they will attend.

Meanwhile, the Court of Justice was lit up by a sign saying #Resignation and ‘’We are looking for 160 out of 240’’early on Tuesday morning. The action was organized in response to the fact that Bulgarian Parliamentary Legislative Commission has rejected the proposed amendments to the Constitution relating to judicial reform.

The proposals will still be voted in Parliament. They need the approval of 160 of the 240 MPs in the chamber to take effect.
