Two French nationals, brothers aged 20 and 28, who were arrested in Bulgaria in June, were indicted on terrorism-related charges in France.
The two brothers, who had headed for Syria to wage jihad, were arrested in Bulgaria in June and were sent back to France, according to reports of Le Parisien.
At the beginning of the week, the two men were placed in custody in Fontenay-sous-Bois.
The youngest brother of the two, a 13-year-old, was arrested and subsequently released.
The brothers had been the target of a preliminary investigation by the anti-terrorist section of the Paris prosecutor’s office since April.
They were indicted on charges of terrorism-related criminal activity and terrorism financing.
