Bulgaria: Airplane Makes Emergency Landing at Sofia Airport Due to Broken Cockpit Window File photo

An airplane made an emergency landing at Bulgaria's Sofia Airport on Tuesday afternoon due to a broken window.

The Wizz Air airplane was conducting flight number W64363 from Sofia to Bologna with 173 passengers on board, daily Sega reports.

The airplane had taken off from Sofia and was above the Serbian city of Nis, when a signal was submitted for a broken window in the cockpit.

After it was granted an approval, the airplane returned back to Sofia and made the emergency landing without any of the people on board suffering injuries.

The passengers have disembarked the plane and will be boarded on a later flight to Bologna, which will be conducted by the same airline.
