PLOVDIV CUSTOMS DIRECTOR FIRED

Nanyo Genchev, director of the customs office at the Plovdiv duty-free zone was fired. Emil Dimitrov, Head of the Customs Agency ordered a thorough investigation of the Plovdiv regional customs because of criminal procedures of five of its officials. The suspects were also fired. Their personal customs seals and weapons have been confiscated.
