Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davuto?lu has told daily Sabah that some circles are trying to topple the ruling party through "organized networks" in the June 7 vote to be held Sunday.

The "circles" have united only to defeat the Party of Justice and Development (AKP) which has been in power since 2003, Sabah's English-language website quotes Davuto?lu as saying in an exclusive interview.

The PM warns of "polarization" that is to follow in society if divisions are further fostered.

In his words, Ankara is now in control as regards previous attempts of the G?len Movement to exert influence on the administration. President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an and AKP officials maintain that the movement led by US-based cleric Fethullah G?len is behind attempts to create "a parallel state" threatening political stability.

Turkey's head of government asserted that election results will be respected on Sunday whatever they are.
