Bulgaria: Bulgarian Economy Minister Holds 2-Day Visit to Serbia Photo: BGNES

Bulgarian Economy minister Bozhidar Lukarski has left on a two-day work visit to Serbia June 1-2.

Lukarski will be visiting Serbia following an invitation to attend the second sitting of the joint inter-governmental economic cooperation committee between the two countries. The Bulgarian Minister will also be meeting with his Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Antic, who is also a co-chair of the committee. He will also hold talks with Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Communications Rasim Ljajic, Minister of Economy Zeljko Sertic and other officials.

The main topic of discussion will be opportunities for expansion of the bilateral cooperation in the fields of trade, investments, transportation, energy, agriculture, tourism, environmental, regional development and cross-border cooperation.

Additionally, a Bulgarian-Serbian business forum is to take place with more than 80 companies from both countries attending.
