Bulgaria, Turkey, and Greece are to sign Monday an agreement on a common contact center and joint border patrols.

The interior ministers of Turkey and Greece are to arrive in Sofia for the signing ceremony, according to reports of Bulgaria’s Interior Ministry, as cited by dnevnik.bg.

The joint contact center is to be established on Bulgarian territory in the region of Kapitan Andreevo and is to bring together specialists from Bulgaria, Greece, and Turkey who will work to reduce the migratory pressure on Europe.

It is not clear yet how long it will take to form the joint border patrols on the basis of the agreement.
