Burundi Truce Signed

A ceasefire agreement has been signed between Burundi's Government and the country's main rebel group. The ceremony came in the early hours of Tuesday morning, following a last-minute delay when the Forces for the Defence of Democracy (FDD) said the text had been altered. A BBC correspondent says the agreement addresses one of the rebel's main concerns, that sharing political power between the two main ethnic groups, Hutus and Tutsis, would be meaningless while the army was still dominated by Tutsis.
