Denkov Appeals to GERB: Honor Agreement, Prevent Elections
Former Prime Minister Nikolai Denkov has called on GERB to honor the agreement made nine months ago and refrain from plunging the country into chaos by opting for early elections
UK-based ESI Media has signed a content and consultancy agreement with Bulgaria’s BGNES News Agency.
ESI Media, the commercial arm of The Independent, i, London Evening Standard and London Live, said in a statement on Wednesday that the deal is the first of its kind for the company in Eastern Europe.
The agreement provides BGNES with access to content from The Independent. ESI Media will provide consultancy and training as BGNES develops its digital offering to the Bulgarian market and beyond.
“The dramatic growth in recent years of independent.co.uk and standard.co.uk plus the development of innovative products such as i100 are testament to ESI Media’s digital expertise. Developing affiliations with partners such as BGNES allows us to grow our worldwide network,” Zach Leonard, MD of Digital for ESI Media, said in the statement.
BGNES CEO Lyubcho Neshkov commented: “Working with ESI Media to access expertise as well as content will help BGNES to develop its digital offering, growing its audience and developing new revenue streams.”
