Bulgaria: Facebook Messenger Video Chat Now Available in Bulgaria Photo: Facebook

The Free Facebook Messenger Video Chat is already available in Bulgaria. The social network management has announced that the service still needs to be refined but is currently available in almost any country around the world.

Users that would like to use the video chat need to update their Messenger apps. The service is now available for both Android and iOS and is free of charge.

David Markus, one of the developers of the app, has said that the company still needs to work on improving the video chat option, but no severe problems are expected.

Additionally, Facebook will be aiming at not allowing the video chat option to disrupt the regular internet connection of the mobile devices.

Facebook initially offered a wide call option in 2011, as a part of its collaboration with Skype. However, the social network decided to develop its own feature and will now enter a direct competition with FaceTime, Google Hangouts and Skype.
