A bomb has been found in a bus full of Bulgarian passengers. The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon in Budapest, Hungary, as reported by bTV quoting the transportation company Omega Group.

The bus was travelling from Prague to Varna and the device has been found in a luggage that did not belong to any of the passengers in the bus.

After a strange scent was sensed coming from the luggage compartment, an additional check took place. It was established that petrol has been spilled and the bag containing the bomb was placed among the regular luggage. a bomb disposal team has been called immediately. Allegedly, the person suspected got on the bus in Prague and got off at Budapest. his identity remains unknown.

After the incident, passengers were evacuated and were transferred to a different bus travelling to Bulgaria and are expected to arrive in Varna later on today.
