Bulgaria 2nd in 3,000-meter World Cup Short Track Event

Bulgaria's skater Evgenia Radanova clocked a time of 5:41.78 to finish second in the women's three-thousand meter race at the World Cup short track event in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Ha-Ri of South Korea topped the field in 5:41.670, .113 ahead of Evgenia Radanova. Tianyu Fu of China finished third with 5:42.159 and moved to first place in the World Cup standings with 144 points after three events. Radanova is second, one point back. China captured gold in men's 5,000 meter relay with a time of seven minutes. Chinese speed skater Jiajun Li has was winner in the men's 1,000 meter race. In team standings Bulgaria's points totalled 139 and the team came to share the fourth place with Italy. The fourth leg of the World Cup will be held in Bormio, Italy, on Dec. 6-8.
