This will allow for planned repair works to be completed as well as conducting maintenance of the equipment and the systems of the nuclear plant.

The unit will be recharged with fresh nuclear fuel, the website of the nuclear plant informs.

Works, which are required for the extension of the exploitation resource of the unit and the renewal of its licence for exploitation beyond 2017, will also be carried out.
