At least four people died at the Palace of Justice in Milan after a shooting took place on Thursday.
According to the president of Milan's appeals court Giovanni Canzio, a defendant in a bankruptcy case opened fire at the entrance of the courthouse, ANSA news agency reports.
The shooter, who has been identified as Claudio Giardiello, has been arrested at Vimercate near Monza after attempting to flee the scene by a motorbike.

Erba and Davide Limongelli were defendants in the same bankruptcy case as the alleged perpetrator Giardiello.
Limongelli was also wounded in the shooting.
