Bulgaria condemned the terrorist attack on Garissa University College in Kenya carried out by the Somali terrorist organisation Al-Shabaab on Thursday, which left 147 civilians dead and 79 injured.

Bulgaria's Foreign Ministry expressed its firm opposition against all forms of terrorism, the ministry's press service reports.

The ministry stated that the murder of innocent people is a barbaric act, which no aim or policy could justify.

The ministry expressed its condolences to the families of the victims and reaffirmed its condemnation of the use of aggression and violence.
