The real Wolf of Wall Street will be coming to Bulgaria briefly on April 7 to give a lecture on his unique sales approach.

Ticket prices vary between the impressive for a locally-organized event BGN 725 and BGN 860.

In 2007 Jordan Belfort rose to world fame after publishing the first volume of his memoirs entitled ''The Wolf of Wall Street''. Two years later the sequel called ''Catching the Wolf of Wall Street'' came out in print. The two books have been translated in over 25 languages and have been published in 72 countries around the world.

In 2013 Martin Scorsese directed the Oscar-nominated movie with the same title with Leonardo Di Caprio in the leading role.

''I hardly know anything about Bulgaria,'' said Belfort in an interview for bTV station. He, however, stated that in his opinion it is much more interesting to hold a seminar in small developing countries as they have greater potential. ''There is a lot one can learn in these countries,'' he added.

Belfort compared working on Wall Street to being a salesman and said that this namely was the reason for his massive financial success.

He went on to explain that nobody can become rich slowly, as it often happens overnight. Belford shared that he had won USD 13 M in just a matter of minutes and then increased them to USD 22 M the next day.

Over the course of the nineties, the boy born in Queens, NY managed to build one of the most dynamic and successful companies in the history of Wall Street, reaching financial heights and earning close to USD 50 M annually. This is how he got the nickname ''The Wolf of Wall Street''.

However, at age 36, Belfort spend 22 months in prison because of artifically boosting stock prices.

Ever since then he has been leading a series of seminars and teaching his successful ''straight line persuasion'' technique.
