Kissinger to Lead September 11th Inquiry

Preident George W. Bush has appointed one of the most significant political figures in recent US history to head of an independent investigation into the September 11th attacks. Former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger will probe the government's failure to prevent the suicide hijackings, which killed over three thousand people. He has promised to leave no stone unturned, even planning to examine ties between US ally Saudi Arabia and the al Qaeda terrorist network.
