Kazanlak managed to get away with a possible tragedy as furious horses raided the streets of the Bulgarian town, located at the foot of the Balkan mountain range.

Around 1 pm Monday, a horse carrying a carriage managed to escape its owner and started moving along a road leading to the center of town. On its way, the horse broke the windows of several cars, jumped on the sidewalk and passed through several bank offices. It has been stopped by police forces right in front of a a TV provider's office after having raged for over 30 minutes.

Luckily, people moving along the sidewalk remained safe and sound, and were not hurt after the incident.

Meanwhile, a similar event happened in the opposite end of the city, near the Roma neighborhood. A horse and a carriage, unaccompanied by a person, trampled over several cars and broke their windows. The horse was stopped by a group of Roma citizens and was tied. Nobody was hurt in this case either.
