European Commission Celebrates Bulgaria's Liberation Day

The national holiday of BulgariaLiberation Day, which is celebrated on March 3, will be marked in the European Commission.

Under the initiative of Commission Vice-President Kristalina Georgieva, Bulgarian dishes will be served in the canteen of the Commission, private bTV station reports.

The officials and visitors of the Commission will receive tourist information for Bulgaria.

There will be also a sale of traditional Bulgarian bracelets – martenitsi, which Bulgarians put on March 1.

This will be a charity sale, as all funds will be donated to Karin Dom – Centre for children with special needs.

Georgieva will unveil the exhibition “The Next Step Generation”, which presents young Bulgarian artists.
