Plovdiv has entered a list of the most attractive cities to live in according to the ranking of the tourist website It's bohemian.
The website listed six of the most inspiring places where one could live for a while in no particular order.
Plovdiv is said to be located in a ''region of the world forgotten by many, but historically, it is a geographic gateway between Europe and Asia''.
Additonally, the qualities of the future European Capital of Culture for 2019 were praised.
In the words of the authors ''Plovdiv is filled with good people and lots of inspiration for those seeking it.''
Among the other cities in the list are Turkey's Istanbul, Belgium's Ghent, Leiden and Amsterdam in the Netherlands, all the cities in the Czech Republic and the only non-European destination - Koh Yao Noi, Thailand.
