Roxette will hit the Bulgarian stage on June 17 at the Sofia Armeets Arena. They have already started their world tour and will extend it by the end of 2016.
The first dates of the tour are already passed with filled concert halls in Russia, Finland and New Zealand. There are thirty countries more to follow, including the home country of two of the band members - Sweden.
Additionally, thirty of the hit songs of the legendary duo Roxette will be compiled in a best-of album. The compilation will be released on March 2 on the local market to mark one of the most successful groups of all time.
The Swedish pop-rock due dates back to 1986 and was formed by lead vocalist Marie Fredrikson and guitarist and vocalist Per Gessle. Their first viral song was The Look, then followed by a number of smash hit records.
Having sold 75 million copies of their nine albums worldwide, however, they are not planning on slowing down.
This, is not the first time that the Roxette entertain the local audience. Back in 2011, over 15,000 people went to their concert and heard live legendary songs like Listen to your heart, Sleeping in my car, and the emblematic ballad from Pretty Woman - It must have been love.
