In the period January – October 2014 Bulgarian exports to the EU amounted to BGN 22.4 B, recording an increase of 2.4 % compared to the same period in 2013.
Bulgaria's main EU trading partners are Germany, Italy, Romania, Greece, France and Belgium, which account for 71.1 % of Bulgarian exports to third countries.
In the period January – October 2014 Bulgarian imports from the EU amounted to BGN 25.8 B, marking an increase of 3.2 % compared to the same period in 2013.
The volume of imported goods is greatest from Germany, Italy, Romania, Greece and Spain.
In the period January – November 2014 Bulgarian exports to third countries amounted to BGN 14.9 B, recording a decrease of 7.1 % compared to the same period in 2013.
Bulgaria's main trading partners are Turkey, Singapore, Russia, China, Serbia and Macedonia, which account for 53.4 % of Bulgarian exports to third countries.
In the period January – November 2014 Bulgarian imports from third countries amounted to BGN 18.1 B, which represents a decrease of 4 % compared to the same period in 2013.
The volume of imported goods is greatest from Russia, Turkey, China and Ukraine.
In the period January – November 2014 Bulgaria exported goods to both the EU and third countries, amounting to BGN 39.8 B, which marks a decrease of 1.6 % compared to the same period in 2013.
Between January and November 2014 the country imported goods from both the EU and third countries amounting to BGN 46.7 B, which represents an increase of 0.4 % compared to the same period in 2013.
